Keller Minimal Windows
The house as a communicating medium
Glazed exterior walls were for a long time virtually a privilege of public facilities.
For instance the UNO headquarters in New York. Architects such as the Frenchman Jean Nouvel also employed glass as a structural element of the façade or used the light effect of louvers. The innovative advantages of a transparent outer skin have also been available to private home owners for some years now.
The avant-gardist Richard Meier created glazed apartments and penthouses for Nicole Kidman or Calvin Klein on the Hudson River. In Europe, too, architects are focusing on the aesthetic, interactive and ecological attributes of glass.
One representative is the Dutchman Hans Van Heeswijk, who built an exemplary property in his homeland: his Rieteiland House consists on three sides entirely of fixed and sliding glazing of the type KELLER minimal windows®, while the fourth side is clad by perforated and in some cases mobile aluminium panels. The house thus becomes a communicating medium.
Glass walls from the floor to the ceiling can be opened and closed easily to let the surroundings in. These impressive window sizes, in combination with a barely visible frame, allow rooms to be flooded with a great deal of light.
With KELLER minimal windows®, which captivate by their many new and intelligent detailed solutions, we have an extraordinary product that is architectonically valuable and convinces by its functional and aesthetic innovations.
The timeless elegance of these transparent sliding areas pleases architects, designers and owners alike.
Their desire to be able to individualise the building project to a greater degree and for quality down to the smallest detail is implemented by KELLER AG in the construction of new buildings and in renovations.
The key to this is the glass. The large-scale windows from KELLER minimal windows® enable the interaction of light, heat and energy efficiency. The outer skin only becomes the connection with the surroundings through the use of glass.
The core business of KELLER AG is the execution of, and attendance to individual orders for residences, mansions, detached and semi-detached houses.
The growing share of international business also has direct consequences within KELLER AG for the variety of the product range.
Regular conversations with internationally renowned architects and planners provide us in turn with inspiration for new developments, which are positively reflected in our customer offers.
The minimalistic design of the KELLER minimal windows® not only creates bright, flowing effects by means of fixed and opening windows, but also enables the saving of energy through the optimum use of daylight thanks to efficient sliding window systems with high thermally insulating profiles.
Glass is thus not just an outer skin, but also a light donor and energy supplier.
